Note: The most common problem with masters is using a consumer grade programs to create the master for replication. Usually these discs will play fine, but they can have “hidden” problems when used for replication (RW – sub channel, etc.). These are usually caused by incompatibility issues between the programs used and the drives. In many instances, these masters will still work for replication, however the best advice is to use a reputable mastering house.
